Manager, Business Analysis & Insights

The Manager, Business Analysis & Insights is responsible for transforming complex business problems into actionable insights through analytics, automation, AI-enabled tools, and stakeholder collaboration. This role partners closely with Product, Technology, Operations, Data Science, and business leaders to identify opportunities, reduce fraud and abuse, improve customer experiences, and deliver measurable business value. The successful candidate will leverage data, SQL, business analysis techniques, and modern analytical tools to influence decisions, accelerate operational improvements, and support strategic initiatives across Walmart.

Collaborating with Product, Technology, Operations, Data Science, and business leadership, we identify opportunities and implement solutions that protect Walmart, its associates, and its customers.

Team members analyze fraud, abuse, customer contact, and operational risk patterns, develop automation, and apply AI to accelerate outcomes while influencing stakeholders and transforming insights into actionable recommendations that support continuous improvement and business success.

What you'll do:

• Lead business analysis initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders to define business objectives, identify opportunities, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, risks, fraud patterns, and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Utilize advanced analytics, SQL, data visualization, AI-enabled tools, and automation technologies to accelerate analysis, improve operational processes, generate insights, support business decision-making, validate outputs, and maintain appropriate governance standards.
• Influence stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Product, Technology, Operations, Data Science, and business teams.
• Drive process improvement, operational efficiency, and data quality through analytical problem solving and scalable solutions.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to support informed decision-making and business success.

What you'll bring:

• Proven expertise in business analysis, data analysis, and advanced analytics to support strategic decision-making.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
• Proficiency in SQL, business intelligence, data visualization, and AI-enabled analytical tools to extract, validate, and communicate insights.
• Experience in process improvement, automation, fraud prevention, and risk management to enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes.
• Ability to influence stakeholders, communicate effectively, and drive results without direct authority.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $ Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 2 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area OR 4 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area.
