Jira Solutions Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Analyze complex business processes, operational workflows, and service delivery models to design scalable solutions within the Atlassian platform ecosystem.

Translate business and technical requirements into enterprise workflow architectures supporting project management, service management, knowledge management, and organizational collaboration initiatives.

Design and engineer advanced Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence solutions that improve operational efficiency, process automation, and business visibility.

Lead requirements discovery sessions and conduct systems analysis to identify opportunities for workflow optimization, process transformation, and platform modernization.

Develop sophisticated workflow architectures, automation frameworks, service delivery models, reporting solutions, and data structures aligned with organizational objectives.

Architect integrations between Atlassian products and enterprise applications using APIs, web services, webhooks, and third-party technologies.

Design and implement enterprise automation strategies that reduce manual effort and improve business process execution.

Evaluate existing platform configurations and recommend technical improvements that enhance scalability, usability, data integrity, and operational effectiveness.

Develop solution specifications, technical requirements, implementation designs, and platform architecture documentation.

Provide technical leadership for platform enhancement initiatives, ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards and long-term business objectives.

Research and evaluate emerging Atlassian capabilities, automation technologies, and integration approaches to support evolving business needs.

Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and stakeholders to define strategic platform roadmaps and future-state operating models.

Demonstrated expertise designing and implementing solutions within Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence environments.

Strong systems analysis and business process engineering experience.

Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Experience designing workflow architectures, automation frameworks, and service delivery solutions.

Expertise with Atlassian APIs, integration design, webhooks, and cross-platform connectivity.

Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and solution design capabilities.

Experience leading platform enhancement, optimization, or transformation initiatives.

Ability to independently evaluate requirements and exercise judgment in selecting appropriate technical solutions.

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
