Job Description & How to Apply Below
QA Engineer – Test Automation & Mobile/Web Testing
We are looking for a QA Engineer to support the testing and release of features across iOS, Android, and Web platforms. This role will be responsible for understanding product requirements, creating practical test scenarios, executing functional and regression testing, and building and maintaining test automation.
The QA Engineer will work closely with QA, Mobile and Backend Engineers, Product Managers, TPMs, Designers, and other cross-functional teams to identify issues early, communicate defects clearly, and make sure features meet defined requirements and acceptance criteria before release.
Key Responsibilities- Review feature requirements and understand end-to-end application flows to identify testing needs.
- Create detailed test cases and test scenarios covering functional requirements, edge cases, negative scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
- Perform hands-on testing across iOS, Android, and Web applications.
- Support both manual testing and automated testing based on project and feature requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
- Perform smoke, regression, functional, integration, and system-level testing to support production releases.
- Work with engineering teams to identify, reproduce, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Analyze test results and investigate failures to determine whether issues are related to the application, test automation, environment, or test data.
- Participate in testing strategy discussions and help improve test coverage and automation across the QA team.
- Maintain test documentation, automation scripts, test data, and testing processes used by the team.
- Work with TPMs, PMs, Engineers, and Designers to clarify requirements, discuss test coverage, and communicate product defects and risks.
- Support release validation and smoke testing of critical Sparky features to ensure stable builds and reliable releases.
- Strong experience creating test cases from feature requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Hands-on testing experience across iOS, Android, and Web platforms.
- Experience with both manual QA and test automation.
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, smoke, and system testing.
- Ability to identify edge cases and build meaningful test scenarios rather than relying only on predefined test cases.
- Good defect reporting and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
