You’ll also set governance, measure ROI, and scale improvements through analytics and strong field and supplier partnerships.
What you'll do...About the team Parts Strategy & Execution sets the tools and parts foundation for Facility Services - supplier partnerships, inventory/data analytics, and program standards/governance. This role sits at the intersection of facilities, sourcing, supply chain, technology, suppliers, and field operations to improve parts availability, reliability, and lifecycle management.
What you’ll do...

- Build regional stocking, replenishment, and fulfillment plans using asset criticality, repair history, demand patterns, technician coverage, and supplier lead times.
- Drive supplier performance through scorecards, routines, and escalations (fill rate, lead time, quality, capacity, cost, warranty recovery, continuity of supply).
- Partner with field teams and service providers to remove barriers, validate demand, and drive adoption.
- Lead cross-functional programs end-to-end (pilots to scale), including prioritization, resourcing, risk management, and change management.
- Track and improve performance (availability/fill rate, backorders, wait time, first-time fix, downtime, turns, excess/obsolete, expedite spend, cost avoidance, ROI).
- Improve processes across forecasting, critical spares, standardization/alternates, repair vs. replace, warranty/returns/core recovery, and end-of-life planning.
- Strengthen asset/parts data quality (master data, BOMs, asset-to-part relationships, criticality, alternates, lifecycle/obsolescence).
- Use telemetry, analytics, and AI to anticipate demand, detect failure patterns, optimize placement, and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Communicate strategy, tradeoffs, and results to senior leaders through business cases and operating reviews.
- Develop team capability through coaching, workforce planning, and succession planning; model Walmart values and accountability.
What you’ll bring...
- Extensive leadership in enterprise programs spanning parts strategy, supply chain/inventory, maintenance, or asset management.
- Ability to execute multi-region strategies across cross-functional stakeholders, suppliers, and technology partners.
- Strong service-parts operations expertise (planning, optimization, replenishment/fulfillment, critical spares, lead times, lifecycle/obsolescence).
- Experience balancing service levels, responsiveness, inventory investment, and total cost in regional plans.
- Supplier performance management expertise (SLAs, scorecards, cost/quality, capacity, risk mitigation, escalations).
- Strong financial/analytical skills (business cases, ROI, KPI analysis, forecasting, data-to-decision).
- Asset/parts data management proficiency (hierarchies, master data, BOMs, governance, lifecycle).
- Experience with EAM/CMMS and related inventory/procurement systems, telemetry, dashboards, analytics, and AI tools.
- Proven influence with senior leaders and success scaling change from pilot to enterprise adoption.
- Team leadership and development capability; integrity- and customer-focused leadership style.
