Role summary:
The Senior Director, Inventory Management, provides strategic leadership to optimize inventory operations by aligning business objectives with customer needs. By balancing forecasting, resource planning, and operational discipline, the Senior Director ensures optimal inventory levels that support business performance and deliver value to customers and stakeholders.
About the team:
The Walmart Inventory Execution team focuses on optimizing instock levels, inventory flow, and network efficiency to enhance service for Walmart Stores and Dotcom Fulfillment centers. This team drives strategies that improve product availability while maximizing inventory investment and asset utilization. By leveraging forecasting, supply chain management, and process improvement, the team supports effective replenishment and cost optimization. Collaborating across functions, they identify opportunities to enhance operations and deliver business objectives.
