Role summary:

Join Walmart’s Supply Chain organization and contribute to advancing our Transportation Network. This team plays a vital role in optimizing shipment operations by integrating technology and process improvements to enhance cost efficiency and service quality. Focused on delivering exceptional value to customers, the team collaborates across functions to implement sustainable solutions and drive continuous improvement. As a key part of retail transformation, the team supports operational excellence through data analysis, root cause resolution, and strategic planning, ensuring timely and effective execution aligned with Walmart’s commitment to customer satisfaction and business success.

• Carrier Network Development and Management:
  Develop a comprehensive network of reliable carriers, prioritizing efficient and cost-effective freight movement.
• Rate Negotiation:
  Negotiate competitive rates with carriers to minimize cost
• Load Tendering and Trace Management:
  Book loads from customers, trace loads as needed, and other related duties.
• Customer Service and Relationship Building:
  Provide exceptional service to all stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met while building strong relationships.
• Problem-solving and Decision-making:
  Employ critical thinking and sound decision-making skills to resolve issues and optimize carrier performance.
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
  Embrace a customer-centric mindset, identifying opportunities for process improvements and suggesting solutions to enhance efficiency

The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Management, is part of a dedicated team focused on enhancing supply chain operations through data-driven process improvements and effective collaboration with cross-functional partners. This team supports operational execution across distribution centers and suppliers by resolving escalated issues and optimizing network efficiencies. Members contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, applying root cause analysis and performance evaluation to drive cost reduction and service excellence.

The team upholds high ethical standards and aligns efforts with business objectives to ensure reliable product flow and operational success within the supply chain network.

• A background in transportation operations (+2yrs) or bachelor s degree
• Be a problem solver
• Be customer-centric and enjoy building relationships
• Able to learn and adapt quickly and handle multiple projects at one time
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $ Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
