Senior Manager, Sourcing

• Lead end-to-end sourcing strategies for the Pet Food category
• Drive cost optimization, quality improvements, and long-term business growth
• Collaborate with Merchants, Product Development, Supply Chain, and other partners on assortment, pricing, replenishment, and product lifecycle decisions
• Establish and maintain supplier partnerships focused on performance, innovation, and scalability
• Analyze data, market trends, commodity pricing, and supplier insights to inform sourcing strategies and purchasing decisions
• Manage budgets and monitor key performance indicators
• Ensure sourcing decisions align with business objectives for growth and profitability
• Support team development and foster accountability and integrity

• Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in merchandising, sourcing, planning, finance, or related area; or 6 years’ experience in merchandising, sourcing, planning, finance, or related area
• Proven experience developing and executing sourcing or procurement strategies
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Strong understanding of cost drivers, supply chain dynamics, manufacturing, and financial levers affecting margin and performance
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across Merchandising, Product Development, and Supply Chain
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies
• Proficiency in commodity management, direct imports, and category strategy development
• Preferred:
  Master's degree in Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or related area
• Preferred:
  Procurement in a retail environment
• Preferred:
  Raw material and commodity procurement

Demonstrates expertise in sourcing strategies, vendor management, and data analysis to drive cost optimization and business growth. Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders while managing budgets and performance metrics.
