Risk Manager/Analyst, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Overview
Join the Walmart U.S. EH&S Fire Code Team to build and support fire safety programs for the world’s largest retailer. This role is critical as we continue to develop strategies for a first-class compliance program that effectively mitigates fire and regulatory risk in our retail and/or supply chain facilities. You will support business partners in assessing risk, building corresponding controls, developing training and awareness programs, and assisting our design and engineering teams.
This position is on-site at our main campus in Bentonville, AR.
What you’ll do- Coordinate with stakeholders to drive effective implementation of fire safety related initiatives
- Partner with stakeholder groups to develop fire-related product attributes and manage proper storage practices
- Build new fire and life safety programs
- Manage fire system and fire code related projects
- Partner with stores to mitigate fire code related concerns
- Support Facilities Services with their efforts to resolve fire code deficiencies
- Develop data analytics that drive continuous improvement
Required minimum qualifications for this position are:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.
- 2 years’ supervisory experience.
- 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
