MAN-Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and accessories and/or machines as required by the daily report; follow checklists and manufacturing order definitions.
• Refer to checklists as steps of the assembly operation.
• Verify that the manufacturing order matches the actual approved kit (sub‑assembly), machines and the contents of the manufacturing order, including correct materials and labor time.
• Report defective assemblies and/or machine components to the final Assembly Lead and replace them as required.
• Assist with other kit assemblies and/or machine assemblies as needed.
• Perform production unit clean‑up tasks as assigned in the work instruction and safety standards; sweep the machine building path daily or as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous machine assembly experience preferred but not required. Must be mechanically inclined.

• Ability to read, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw, interpret and use bar graphs.
• Ability to apply common‑sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• The ideal candidate will possess problem‑solving skills, dependability, and will observe all safety and security guidelines.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment without air conditioning.
• Must be able to work around mechanical and pneumatic tools and use them safely.
• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask.
• Must be willing to work occasional overtime, including Saturdays, as work demands.
