This position will be based out of a facility in Northwest Arkansas or NE Oklahoma. The RN will make home hospice nursing visits as needed and in rotation with other teammates. Hospice nursing provides a meaningful connection with patients and families. Our nurses take their time and have incredible amounts of 1:1 time to coach and educate patients and families in our care.

General DescriptionThe RN is an integral part of the hospice interdisciplinary care team and is responsible for providing patient care visits, assessing medical needs, liaising with physicians, attending deaths, triage calls, and assisting with the admission process. The RN must understand that hospice care must be delivered according to accepted standards of practice, guided by the mission of the organization and the patient/family's needs and concerns.
The RN blends all services of the hospice into an integrated program of support.
Current unrestricted RN license in AR, OK, or compact; BLS certification; strong assessment skills with critical thinking and a high level of problem solving within a healthcare facility; strong documentation and communication ability; ability to stay calm and cope with human suffering/emergencies. Preference for hospice experience, home health, or acute care nursing experience with computer charting experience.
Position requires use of personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
