Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU
- Neonatal Intensive Care for a 13‑week assignment in Bentonville, Arkansas.

• One year of recent neonatal intensive care RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

• Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Certification (RNC‑NIC)
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC
• Other certifications and licenses may be required

• Assess and monitor critically ill and premature newborns, identifying changes and documenting conditions and responses
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved neonatal nursing techniques
• Perform neonatal assessments, including vital signs, weight checks, and specialized neonatal screenings
• Operate and manage advanced NICU equipment, such as ventilators, CPAP machines, and infusion pumps, ensuring functionality
• Assist with life‑saving and diagnostic neonatal procedures, including umbilical line placement and intubation
• Educate and support parents on neonatal care, feeding techniques, and developmental care
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Adhere to infection control measures, including hand hygiene, PPE use, and sterilization protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize neonatal outcomes
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• English language proficiency: reading, writing, speaking
• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and PC skills
• Physical abilities: stationary position, move equipment up to 100 lbs, push/pull, bend
• Interpersonal skills: work effectively with diverse personnel, maintain positive attitude and professionalism
• Technical/motor skills: fine manipulation, push/pull, assist with procedures and equipment
• Mental requirements: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally

Fusion Medical Staffing – Nursing Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
