Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (31779)
Position purpose

Responsible for providing medical assistance to practice physicians and patients.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

* Room patients

* Take patient vitals, record vitals and medical information in EMR

* Assist physicians as needed

* Write prescriptions, as directed by physicians

* Phone triage, as needed

* Clean patient exam rooms and prepare for next patient

* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

Associates degree in nursing. Active and valid LVN license.

Experience:

2-5 years of prior LVN experience is preferred. Prior GI or Internal Medicine experience is a plus.

Requirements for PRN Status:

* PRN employees must not work more than 29 hours per week or 1000 hours per year.

* PRN employees must not work a reoccurring schedule.
