Registered Nurse Acute Care

Job Summary:

The Acute Care Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care and achieve optimal outcomes. The nurse integrates knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into care delivery and contributes to quality improvement initiatives. Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Current certification in CPR, ACLS, and PALS.
• Ability to apply the nursing process effectively in acute care settings.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

• Experience in acute care or hospital nursing preferred.
• Familiarity with performance improvement and quality assurance methodologies.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced acute care environment.
• May require flexibility for shift work and on-call responsibilities.

• Work schedule includes assigned shifts, which may involve days, nights, weekends, or holidays depending on staffing needs.
