Horticulture Landscape Specialist

The Peel Compton Foundation is now hiring for a full‑time Horticulture Landscape Maintenance Specialist to join the team at Compton Gardens

• All gardening and grounds‑keeping duties including planting, weeding, pruning, mulching, turf management, maintaining drives and walkways, painting, and litter pickup.
• Planting and gardening.
• Greenhouse growing.
• Light landscaping.
• Keeping the grounds beautiful for visitors.
• Basic maintenance work.

• Basic hand tools.
• Passion and understanding of horticulture practices.
• Landscape maintenance.
• Greenhouse/nursery experience (a plus).
• Irrigation systems.
• Shovels.
• Rakes.
• Lawncare equipment.
• Trimmers / blowers.

• Experience in lawncare.
• Must be a team player.
• Enjoy working outside.

Ability to climb ladders, stand for many hours during the daytime, work in all types of weather (wet, cold, hot, humid, and sunny conditions), perform manual labor including lifting supplies and materials up to 50 lbs.
