Job Title: Laboratory Assistant - Report Writing Focus
Location: Bentonville, AR - Onsite
Position Type: Contract (W2)
Duration: 3/2/2026 – 5/29/2026
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Talent Fish is casting a line for a Laboratory Assistant with a strong report writing focus to support a testing lab environment. This role partners closely with senior lab staff to process samples, perform tests, analyze results, and compile final reports. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, comfort working across multiple software systems, and the ability to learn lab processes quickly.
Textile or apparel testing exposure is helpful but training is available.
- Support senior lab staff with sample processing, test execution, and documentation
- Perform tests using standard laboratory equipment and follow defined test plans
- Record, analyze, and explain test results
- Prepare charts, graphs, and final written reports summarizing testing outcomes
- Build or adapt basic test setups and equipment as needed
- Maintain and perform routine care of lab equipment and work areas
- Enter and extract data using laboratory information systems and Excel
- Review samples for fail points, label claims, and missed testing risks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and test documentation
- Communicate with internal teams and customers during test setup and execution
- Integrate continuous improvement practices into daily work
- Follow all physical and digital security policies and codes of conduct
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field preferred
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working across multiple software systems
- Report writing experience or strong written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to review samples for quality and compliance issues
- Ability to follow structured test plans and data sheets
- Willingness to learn lab methods, instrumentation, and systems
- Textile or apparel testing background preferred but not required
- Strong attendance history and reliability
- Hands‑on exposure to real‑world laboratory testing

The expected salary range for this position is $14 - $17 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Talent Fish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity. The salary range provided is in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
