- Perform basic functionality tests and troubleshooting to meet acceptable repair specifications.
- Use established procedures and work instructions to meet production goals and troubleshoot electronic modules.
- Collect data for evaluation purposes.
- Perform setup, testing and modular level repair to whole units.
- Maintain accurate record keeping for individual repairs.
- Use custom software testing suites to diagnose/validate hardware failure.
- Recognize failures, follow engineering changes, and determine appropriate action.
- Use equipment such as a voltmeter, computer, and special test fixtures.
- Maintain production and quality output standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. - Work Experience:
Less than 1 year. - Key Skills and
Competencies:- General math skills.
- Experience as a production assembler, having performed assembly operations to required quality levels and job standards.
- Some knowledge of computers and test equipment is required.
- Manual dexterity and visual coordination are required.
- Prior use of various hand tools.
- Ability to stand and sit on production line throughout the shift.
- Works well with others.
- Federal Security Clearance:
This position will be providing services under a federal contract. Completion of a successful federal security clearance is a requirement. The applicant must be a US citizen, able to obtain a Public Trust/Sensitive Security Clearance, and complete detailed background screens including employment/education verification, credit check, drug test, fingerprinted criminal background screen, and federal criminal search.
$17.25 per hour.
