Position Summary... What you'll do... Join Our New Bentonville Liquor Store Team

Join the team opening our new Sam’s Club liquor store in Bentonville and help us deliver a great experience for our members from day one.

As a Liquor Lead , you’ll help support the team and day-to-day operations as we bring this new location to life.

• Provides Member/Guest Service by acknowledging the Member/Guest identifying their needs assisting with purchasing decisions locating merchandise resolving issues and concerns promoting products and services and appropriately representing and supporting the Company’s mission

• Receives and stocks merchandise and maintains Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with Company policies and procedures by setting up cleaning arranging and organizing product displays and merchandise removing damaged goods properly handling claims returns and signing pricing merchandise appropriately completing paperwork logs and other required documentation securing fragile and high shrink merchandise zoning the area and identifying shrink and damages

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards procedures and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps following proper forklift driving and spotting procedures following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials following Company steel standard guidelines and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management

• Operates and maintains hardware such as cash registers and related equipment processes Member/Guest purchases and refunds and assists in payments returns refunds and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different Membership and payment types and by stocking register supplies and box bins all while following Company policies and procedures for identifying concealed merchandise and making an effort to meet frontend performance goals

• Assists management with the supervision of Associates in the area of responsibility by assigning duties communicating goals and feedback teaching Company policies and procedures and ensuring compliance supporting the Open Door Policy: and participating in recruiting hiring scheduling promoting coaching and evaluating Associates

• Secures and safeguards the Facility and surrounding areas by controlling keys and alarm codes observing and communicating suspicious activity assisting with investigations maintaining paperwork logs and other required documentation and appropriately executing emergency response procedures

• Follows Company policies and local state and federal laws for Liquor sales by securing merchandise maintaining signage verifying Member/Guest identification and completing and maintaining paperwork forms and required documentation

• Processes Member/Guest refunds and exchanges in accordance with Company policies and procedures and sorts secures and returns merchandise to the appropriate Department

• Executes Company competition shopping program by monitoring local competitors to determine pricing information communicating pricing and signing changes resulting from research and properly utilizing required equipment and tools
