About the Role
Account Manager – Walmart retail account. Manage day‑to‑day execution, collaborate with operations, product, and marketing to drive long‑term strategy.
What You’ll Do- Develop and grow relationships with key decision makers at Walmart to expand Dr. Squatch’s omnichannel presence.
- Work closely with brokers, distributors, and external partners to create mutually beneficial short‑ and long‑term strategies by account.
- Collaborate with the Senior Account Manager to build and execute sales strategy to encourage trial, market share growth, and household penetration.
- Partner with marketing to create compelling merchandising destinations for Dr. Squatch on shelf.
- Own trade‑promotion strategy and customer spend planning by account.
- Facilitate retail initiatives with internal product, operations, and marketing teams.
- Develop collateral and assets – 1‑pagers, sales presentations – for the sales organization.
- Provide key inputs for account‑specific demand planning.
- Ensure flawless execution of new item launches in assigned accounts.
- 3‑5 years of sales, business development, or account management in CPG, preferably personal care or wellness in the Walmart channel.
- Experience with tier‑1 mass retailers (Walmart experience preferred).
- Proven success in achieving aggressive sales goals.
- Background managing multiple broker networks and third‑party merchandising groups.
- Deep understanding of national accounts, brokers, distributors, and national channel landscape.
- Travel willingness when necessary.
- Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries.
- Experience in consumer products industry is highly preferred.
