Position OverviewThe Sales & Replenishment Manager – Walmart/Sam’s Club plays a key role in driving sales growth, optimizing inventory management, and enhancing retailer relationships to support MPG’s clients. This role is responsible for managing replenishment strategies, analyzing sales data, and improving forecasting accuracy to maximize sales performance and ensure seamless retail execution.
As a liaison between MPG’s clients, Walmart, and Sam’s Club, this position requires strong leadership, analytical expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to drive data-backed decisions, streamline replenishment processes, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee sales performance analysis, tracking inventory levels, replenishment flow, and key metrics to identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop and present weekly and monthly reports to MPG leadership, clients, and Walmart/Sam’s Club teams, offering insights into market trends and performance.
- Leverage data analytics tools (Retail Link, Luminate, Power BI, etc.) to enhance forecasting and decision-making.
Replenishment & Inventory Management
- Manage replenishment strategies and execution, ensuring optimal in-stock levels and minimizing supply chain disruptions.
- Partner with Walmart’s Replenishment and Demand Planning teams to resolve inventory challenges and drive on-shelf availability.
- Monitor and refine forecasting models, incorporating POS trends, promotional activity, and seasonal shifts to improve demand planning.
- Act as a key point of contact for Walmart/Sam’s Club teams, ensuring alignment between retailer needs and MPG’s clients’ business objectives.
- Lead and participate in strategic retailer meetings, providing data-backed insights on inventory, replenishment, and sales trends.
- Strengthen relationships with buyers, replenishment managers, and supply chain teams to support long-term success.
Demand Forecasting & Planning
- Own and enhance demand forecasting processes, ensuring accurate projections and alignment with retailer expectations.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and clients to optimize forecast accuracy and trade investment strategies.
- Utilize Walmart/Sam’s Club forecasting and replenishment systems to proactively address supply chain inefficiencies.
Content Management & Retail Execution
- Oversee content management, ensuring product listings, images, and marketing materials meet Walmart’s and Sam’s Club’s compliance and brand standards.
