The New Home Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Bentonville, AR. In this position, the consultant guides prospective buyers through the process of selecting custom home plans, reviewing features, and understanding pricing and financing options. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and qualifying leads, conducting model home tours, presenting product and financing information, and responding promptly to customer inquiries. The role also involves preparing sales agreements, coordinating with construction and finance teams, and maintaining accurate records in sales systems.
The consultant is expected to meet sales goals, participate in ongoing training, and represent United Built Homes professionally at all times.
- Customer-focused skills, including strong Customer Service abilities and a commitment to building positive client relationships.
- Sales-oriented experience, with proficiency in New Home Sales and general Sales activities such as prospecting, follow-up, and closing.
- Negotiation skills to support effective pricing discussions, contract terms, and win–win outcomes for buyers and the company.
- Training and learning aptitude, with the ability to absorb product, financing, and regulatory information and apply it in customer conversations.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, including confident presentations in person, by phone, and via email.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads, appointments, and documentation accurately.
- Comfort with basic technology and CRM or sales tracking tools; ability to learn company-specific systems quickly.
- Prior experience in residential construction, real estate, mortgage, or related fields is beneficial but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related area is a plus.
