The Alarm Central team is essential in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring fire and burglary alarms and prioritizing business safety. This team coordinates work assignments, responds promptly to safety events, and collaborates with internal partners to manage communications during incidents. Upholding company policies with professionalism, the team continuously seeks improvements to enhance safety measures. Their dedication ensures a reliable and secure experience for associates and customers, supporting Walmart's commitment to a safe workplace through effective communication and focused attention on business priorities and fire protection systems.

What you'll do:

* Investigate and respond promptly to alarms by dispatching security patrols or notifying emergency services as required.

* Assist associates during safety or security events, ensuring their well-being and support.

* Monitor travel safety and security for assigned associates, identifying and mitigating potential risks.

* Conduct continuous reviews of multiple systems to detect and address security threats.

* Coordinate corporate responses by distributing advisories and communications related to safety incidents.

* Compile detailed daily and incident reports in compliance with company policies.

* Provide backup and on-call security support as needed, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
