We are seeking a skilled and reliable Metal Stud Framer for a temp-to-hire position. You will build structural frameworks for commercial and residential buildings. This role requires precision, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to worksite safety. Exceptional performance during the temporary period may lead to a permanent, full-time position with our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Layout and Measure:
  Read blueprints to determine framing layouts and mark reference lines accurately.
• Installation:
  Cut, fit, and install heavy and light-gauge metal studs, tracks, and channels.
• Assembly:
  Connect metal framing components using laser levels, plumb bobs, screws, and welding tools.
• Structural Support:
  Install dry-wall backing, blocking, bracing, and door/window headers.
• Safety & Maintenance:
  Maintain a clean work area and strictly follow OSHA safety regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2 years of commercial or residential metal stud framing experience.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to read blueprints, architectural drawings, and structural layouts.
• Tool Proficiency:
  Mastery of screw guns, chop saws, lasers, powder-actuated tools, and hand tools.
• Physical Ability:
  Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• Logistics:
  Reliable transportation and a personal set of basic hand tools (pouch, tape measure, square, utility knife).

Job Details & Compensation:

Job Type: Temporary to Hire (typically a 90-day probationary period before direct hire).

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday.

Night shift, 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM.
