  • Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video, and network cabling.
  • Run, terminate, and label cables following project specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform regular system inspections and promptly troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Provide technical support and training to end users on system operation and maintenance.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and project managers to complete projects successfully.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports on installations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Evaluate and upgrade systems to enhance performance and meet current standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Prior work experience in role requiring knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.
  • Proven experience installing, configuring, and maintaining low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, and audio/video equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to promptly identify and resolve system issues.
  • Ability to run, terminate, and label cables following industry standards and project requirements.
  • Knowledge of compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to low voltage installations.
  • Experience collaborating with teams and managing projects to ensure timely, quality outcomes.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and accurate documentation of work performed.
