Senior QA Automation Engineer - (Playwright and Cypress)
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and test scripts using Playwright and Cypress. Your work will span functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing across POS systems, validate integrations between backend services, APIs, and downstream applications, collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality across releases, analyze defects to support root‑cause investigations, improve overall test coverage, and integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to support release readiness.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using Playwright and Cypress.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing across POS systems.
- Validate integrations between backend services, APIs and downstream applications.
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality across releases.
- Analyze defects, support root‑cause investigation, and improve overall test coverage.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and support release readiness.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong hands‑on experience in Playwright and Cypress automation.
- Good experience in JavaScript / Type Script for automation scripting.
- Experience in UI testing, API testing, regression automation, and integration testing.
- Good understanding of POS systems / retail workflows and end‑to‑end transaction validation.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins / Azure Dev Ops, test reporting, and Agile delivery.

Compensation Range: $78,000 – $117,000 per year
