Role
Java Backend Developer — Lead II - Software Engineering
Responsibilities- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, web developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of Java applications into business systems.
- Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring that the software operates as intended.
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. Document code, APIs, and system architectures to facilitate future maintenance and onboarding.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security, analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements.

Kubernetes integrations
- 5-7 years hands-on experience in Java development at enterprise level (recent)
- Strong programming skills in Java, including object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and familiarity with Java frameworks
- Understanding of microservices architecture and experience in building and deploying microservices-based applications
- Hands-on experience in developing Spring Boot applications, including dependency injection, ORM (Object-Relational Mapping), and REST API development
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices, including automated testing, build pipelines, and deployment strategies
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries as per industrial standards, fine-tuned for optimization
- Strong problem-solving abilities, good communication (written & verbal) skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team
- The evaluation includes an hands on coding/troubleshooting exercise and should be able to articulate past projects and do on the fly troubleshooting/ write logic

Compensation Range: $82,000-$123,000
