Senior Golang Developer

Job Description

One of Insight Global's largest national retail clients is seeking a Senior Golang Developer with Kubernetes deployment experience. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating large-scale data systems, real-time communication, mobile app development, and have previous experience architecting and implementing scalable Kubernetes environments, including setting up pods and defining scaling strategies to ensure system stability. You will be focusing on creating/integrating new components into existing applications and enhancing the mobile engagement.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang.
• Architect and implement scalable Kubernetes environments, including setting up pods and defining scaling strategies to ensure system stability.
• Work on proof of concepts (POCs) and drive technical innovation.
• Optimize Postgre
  
  SQL databases for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that align with business goals.
• Utilize best practices for Kubernetes deployments, ensuring seamless orchestration and resource management.

• 5+ years of experience coding in Golang professionally.
• Expertise in Kubernetes deployment strategies, environment setup, pod management, and scaling strategies.
• Strong experience with Postgre

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to design and implement scalable backend systems.
• Experience working on POCs and driving technical innovation.
• Previous experience working user profile creation within an application and defining user profiles.
• Experience building, managing, and troubleshooting Docker containers.
