Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs in Python and/or Java
- Build and operate microservices within containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Integrate with GCP-native services including Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, and Cloud SQL
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and AI teams to build data-serving APIs and platform services
- Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and architecture discussions
- Ensure PCI-DSS compliance and security best practices within payment-adjacent systems
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and infrastructure-as-code practices
- 3+ years (Intermediate) or 5+ years (Specialist) of backend software development experience
- Proficiency in Python and/or Java for production-grade services
- Experience With RESTful API Design And Microservices Architecture
- Familiarity with cloud-native development on GCP or equivalent cloud platform
- Working knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and design pattern knowledge
- Experience in high-volume retail or e-commerce systems
- Exposure to event-driven architecture (Kafka, Pub/Sub)
- GCP Professional Developer certification
- PCI-DSS Or Payment Systems Integration Experience
