Java Full Stack Developer – Lead I - Software Engineering

UST is hiring a strong Java Full Stack Developer to join a multi-vendor, multi-geo team building a Next Gen High Scale Enterprise Platform.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
• Architect and design scalable, high‑performance enterprise solutions.
• Drive strategic technical decisions for the Next Gen High Scale Enterprise Platform.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams in an on‑site setting.
• Ensure delivery of high‑quality, robust, and maintainable codebases.

• Mandatory:
  Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Azure, ReactJS, Redux.
• Good to have:
  GraphQL, Kubernetes integrations, Node.js.
• 5+ years hands‑on experience in Java development at enterprise scale.
• 3+ years of recent React experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java, React and Node, including OOP principles, design patterns and familiarity with Java frameworks.
• Understanding of micro‑services architecture and experience building and deploying microservices‑based applications.
• Hands‑on experience developing Spring Boot applications, including dependency injection, ORM and REST API development.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform (App Service, Functions, Azure SQL).
• Proficiency building server‑side applications using Node.js, including RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• In‑depth understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, ES6+ features and functional programming concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, automated testing, build pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Proficiency writing SQL queries optimized for industrial standards.
• Proficiency developing front‑end applications using ReactJS, including components, state management and routing.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills (written & verbal).

Location:

Arkansas
Compensation Range: $75,000 – $113,000 per year

Full‑time employees accrue at least 10 days of paid vacation, 6 days of paid sick leave, 10 paid holidays, paid bereavement leave and jury duty leave. Eligibility for company 401(k) with matching, medical, dental, vision and life insurance. Additional voluntary benefits include short‑term disability, HSA and FSA. Part‑time employees receive prorated sick leave and 401(k) eligibility. Benefits may vary for employees in Puerto Rico and for those working under local laws that offer more generous sick leave.
