Quality Engineer
The candidate should be able to successfully multi-task, and thrive in a dynamic, fully engaged Quality Engineer role. The role will involve interacting with Product Owners, developers, Architects, and other QA teams.
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Quality Engineer who has experience in Functional and non-functional(such as performance, Chaos/Resiliency) areas with good experience in using test automation tools like Rest assured, Cucumber, Test Ng for api automation with java, Jmeter.
Drive the creation and execution of test strategy, test plans, test cases as well as utilize automated tools to optimize the STLC.
Perform exploratory testing, automate repetitive tasks and work side by side with software development engineers to deliver high quality product to Audible customers.
Efficiently execute test cases across all functional and non-functional (Performance, DR, and Resiliency) areas of our products.
Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
Measure, interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- 5 to 6+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer or SDET.
- Hands on experience with test automation using - Java, Rest assured, Cucumber, Test Ng for api automation with java, JMeter
- Good understanding of programming – Java, SQL, Spring
- Good understanding of DB concepts, CI/CD pipeline and DevOpS.
- Experience owning the full test strategy through test completion for major components of a software system.
- Must be able to thrive in an ambiguous environment - where change is the only constant.
- Ability to triage issues, react well to changes, collaborate with other test and development teams.
