QA/Testing Automation Engineer
Location:
BENTONVILLE, Arkansas – (Hybrid – 3 days on Site)
Duration: 2 Months
Rate: DOE

Requirements- 5 years of experience in software testing based on SDLC lifecycle.
- 3 years of experience writing automation scripts using Java.
- Development experience with Java and Python.
- Experience with load, regression, integration, e2e testing, and incorporating various tests into the development lifecycle.
- Experience using Astra, Junit, TestNG, Selenium, Karate tooling.
- Strong understanding of REST-API code.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) or Continuous Development (CD) pipelines.
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead with minimal guidance and suggest improvements.
- Build and own automation test flows for Omni Spec.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Astra Automation to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Develop scripts for backend test automation platforms to create, manage, and execute automated component, integration, and e2e tests for API or Kafka-based applications.
- Create unit and functional test cases using available test frameworks.
- Perform contract testing for APIs, including Standard, Wiremock, Postman, and DX Contract Testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine test strategies.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and identify defects, providing detailed reports for issue resolution.
- Continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks.
- Document test plans, scripts, and results accurately.
- Maintain and update test management tools and version control systems.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on test progress and resolutions.
- Support the transition of scripts to business users.
