The OpportunityWe are looking for a QA Data & Automation Engineer who will own quality strategy across our Enterprise Data Platform and AI delivery ecosystem. This role is central to ensuring that our data products, cloud pipelines, and AI/ML applications ship with zero defects and enterprise‑grade reliability. You will design automation frameworks, validate complex data flows, and partner closely with engineering, data science, and product teams to uphold the highest standards of accuracy and performance.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Automation Engineering: Build automated test suites and frameworks from scratch using open‑source tools and modern CI/CD practices.
- Functional & AI/ML Validation: Perform deep functional testing, output verification, and structured QA for analytical dashboards, ML models, and AI‑driven applications.
- Data Quality & Pipeline Testing: Write advanced SQL queries to validate cloud ingestion, ETL/ELT transformations, schema integrity, and data completeness across large‑scale pipelines.
- Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Work with Data Science, Engineering, and Product teams to translate BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria into robust test plans. - Defect Lifecycle Ownership: Track defects end‑to‑end in Jira, identify root causes, and proactively flag systemic risks across the platform.
- Release & UAT Support: Drive UAT readiness, coordinate stakeholder sign‑offs, and ensure smooth, predictable releases across environments.
- 3+ years of hands‑on software testing experience, ideally within data engineering, analytics, or cloud‑native environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java
, with experience in automation frameworks such as Selenium Web Driver or Rest Assured
. - Deep proficiency in SQL and familiarity with cloud ecosystems (
AWS, Azure, or GCP
). - Solid understanding of Agile
