Transportation Support Specialist (Logistics Coordinator) –

Location:

Bentonville, AR. Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent transportation, logistics, dispatch, or operations experience considered.

• 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, freight coordination, or a similar fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience coordinating shipments, deliveries, pickups, or transportation schedules is preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation processes, carrier communication, and logistics operations.
• Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP systems, or similar software platforms is preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in documentation, scheduling, and recordkeeping.
• Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and recommend solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Adaptability and ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced transportation environment.

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to transportation-related inquiries and requests.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules while ensuring timely communication with all parties.
• Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and updates.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with transportation partners and carriers.
• Process shipments and maintain accurate transportation records.
• Monitor shipment activity and track loads from origin to destination.
• Identify and resolve scheduling, routing, and shipping issues.
• Assist with carrier coordination and daily transportation operations.
• Verify transportation rates and support billing-related questions.
• Maintain accurate data within transportation systems and operational records.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and service levels.
• Support reporting, documentation, and administrative tasks related to transportation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
• Ability to perform repetitive computer tasks, including data entry and document review.
• Ability to communicate effectively by phone, email, and internal communication systems.
• Ability to maintain focus and accuracy while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced office or logistics environment.
