Material Handler

Major Function

The Material Handler’s primary job function is to supply internal and external customers with service parts and meet our customer’s commitments.

• Picking service parts
• Packing service parts
• May pick parts from heightened areas

Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Must be able to work unexpected overtime, as well as scheduled overtime.
• Must be able to work from a 5 a.m. start time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• Prior forklift driving experience preferred; if none, must be willing to learn and become certified.
• Must be able to use scanners.
• Must be detail oriented with numbers.
• Must have accuracy with numbers and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Ability to use computer to look up locations, part quantities on hand, etc.

$18.41 – $23.03 per hour. The range indicates the expected hourly pay for this position and may be modified in the future.
