About the Organization

ultru is looking for a responsible goal‑oriented individual interested in a material handler position for Hyster Yale Group. The material handler is responsible for receiving, identifying, verifying, storing, moving, and staging a variety of incoming parts, materials, and supplies. You’ll store, pull, pick, move, stage, and maintain perpetual inventory records on a variety of machines, assemblies, and purchase parts and components.

You will prepare finished forklift trucks and a variety of parts for shipment, as well as perform other related duties as assigned.

Key Accountabilities
  • Supply work areas with scheduled production and maintain flow of work throughout the plant areas.
  • Receive and examine open cartons, boxes, crates, and packages for greatness based on the bill of lading.
  • Prepare finished products for shipments and arrange for shipments to be made.
  • Maintain aisles, storage areas, and remove dunnage, trash, and recyclable materials.
  • Daily pre and post shift inspection of vehicle used to perform job.
  • Maintain adherence to quality product and quality standards.
  • Promote a safe work environment.
  • Perform routine cleaning of spray equipment and general housekeeping.
  • Support and help enforce all company policies.
Shift

4 days per week

1st shift: 5:00am–3:30pm – $16.25/hr

2nd shift: 4:00pm–2:30am – $16.65/hr

Position Requirements
  • Minimum six months experience.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Use a forklift, rack loader, and other necessary equipment; must possess a forklift license.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read and make decisions from purchase orders, bills of lading, packing slips, inventory location listings, stock request, receiving travelers, parts list, shipping orders, manifest, written and verbal instructions.
  • Experience with inventory control systems:
    Kanban, OAR, MRP, etc.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks related to this assignment (bend, twist, lift, kneel, reach, pull, squat, push, etc.).
  • Safety knowledge in a manufacturing environment and proper use of PPE.
