Job duties include assembling forklift trucks and related components according to production specifications, installing and inspecting parts, verifying completed assemblies meet quality standards, using hand tools and production equipment safely and efficiently, following work instructions and standard operating procedures, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, working with team members to meet daily production goals, and performing additional assembly and production duties as assigned.
Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED preferred. Experience requirements include 6 months to 1 year of prior manufacturing or assembly experience, strong attention to detail, ability to use hand tools and follow assembly instructions, ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift, ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, strong teamwork and communication skills, and commitment to producing high-quality work and following safety procedures.
Physical capabilities include the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift, ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment, and ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
