Role:
Food and Consumable associates focused on customer service and merchandising. Move incoming merchandise to the sales floor and create seasonal display features to meet customer needs. For complete duties and requirements, refer to the Job Description.
Walmart’s fresh food and grocery teams help customers with quality products and a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities include front-line customer service, quality checks, and assistance across departments:
- Work in deli, bakery, or dry grocery to support customer service and product availability
- Assist customers, help with cake orders, deli orders, or finding produce
- Ensure shelves are clean, properly stocked, and displays are maintained
- Maintain temperature control, check dates, and dispose of substandard products
There are similarities across departments, including cleaning procedures and adherence to safety standards. If you have a passion or experience with fresh food or grocery, this role is for you.
