- This is a part time position
- Must be available to work the hours 10am-4pm Mon-Thu and 10am-3pm on Friday
- Must be available to fill in to cover the full time Receptionist when needed
- Answer calls received to the Agency and direct calls in an efficient, courteous, and helpful manner.
- Maintain an online reference of all Agency locations and associated programs with key personnel and phone numbers.
- Maintain an online reference of all Agency fax numbers and their locations.
- Assist with sorting, posting, and delivering of agency mail and packages within the building.
- Prepare and mail correspondence as needed for the department.
- Maintain and provide necessary service for the operation of the postage meter and other office equipment.
- Maintain inventory of needed office or kitchen supplies.
- Greet all guests/visitors, have them sign in, issue visitor passes, and wait in the reception area until they can be taken to their destination.
- Keep Agency informational flyers, client rights documentation, applications for employment, and other printed materials stocked and available in the reception area.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Exhibit positivity, flexibility, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.
- Demonstrate positive leadership, promote a team‑based work environment, and present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.
Physical Requirements
- Work is primarily performed at a desk; at times the work may involve prolonged periods of photocopying when necessary.
- Some physical activity is required to process mail, store office supplies, etc.; lifting over 30 lbs. is not required.
- Exceptional customer service and phone skills are needed.
- Attention to detail and confidentiality are required.
- English reading and writing skills are required.
- Must be capable of providing customer service in a professional and courteous fashion.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Computer literacy and excellent oral communications are essential.
- Ability to operate a variety of office equipment.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
- Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License with a safe driving record and valid insurance.
