Corporate Network Operations Engineer
This position will have Corporate Network Operations responsibilities across the networking spectrum (WIFI, Routing, Switching, etc). The network engineer will be a member of a team and share on-call responsibilities to ensure network operations, maintenance, performance and availability for all the various systems in use on the Client Corporate Network.
• Support and maintain the enterprise network to meet the functional objectives of the business.
• Work with other members of the networking team to ensure network availability, performance and quality.
• Collaborate at all levels to Identify and troubleshoot recurring platform issues.
• On-call
• Participate in on-call rotation to support sites after hours.
• Documentation
• Document network designs and processes using collaboration tools, such as MS Teams and SharePoint, etc.
• 4+ years network engineering experience.
• Experience with enterprise networking on large business networks – finance.
• Networking technologies at both L2 and L3 and all aspects of TCP/IP networking.
• Wi-Fi Systems Management experience. Including both Cisco and Aruba technologies.
• Cisco and Arista Switches.
• MPLS, SDWAN (Versa experience a plus).
• Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.)
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Network certs preferred (CCNA, Aruba, Arista, Juniper, Network+).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers possessing a wide range of technical knowledge.
• Up to 15% travel may be required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
