Job Description
The Portfolio Management - Financial Planning & Analysis team performs analyses and financial reporting of Private Equity results and strategic business initiatives. The core focus of the group is to perform financial analysis, modeling, forecasting and reporting for the Private Equity Segment businesses.
Responsibilities- Leading and continually enhancing the P&L forecasting process, focusing on revenue & earnings projections and associated sensitivities
- Construction and maintenance of fund models for financial and capital metrics reporting as well as NAV projections
- Supporting all aspects of fund launch including creating and defining reporting and forecasting processes for new product
- Driving the integration of technology into the forecasting process and liaising with other business unit FP&A teams and other business functions to ensure a coordinated approach
- Managing the preparation of presentations and memorandums for senior management including both monthly reporting packages and ad hoc materials
- Supporting broader finance and investor relations teams during the quarterly earnings releases as well as on an ad hoc basis in dealing with clients and investors
- Leading the review and forecasting of operating expenses and coordinating with the COO and various expense teams to maximize accuracy and visibility for stakeholders
- Performing special projects and ad‑hoc business case analyses determined by the needs of Senior Management
- Undergraduate degree with strong GPA (Finance or Accounting most applicable)
- 3+ years of experience in a financial planning and analysis position; private equity experience a plus
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, Anaplan and Essbase experience an advantage
- Proven capability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and handle multiple projects
- Strong technical, analytical, financial modeling and quantitative skills
- Detail‑oriented, highly organized and keen attention to details
- Possesses a strong work ethic, professional integrity, a positive attitude
- Highly self‑motivated and intelligent, capable of working effectively in a team environment; proactive and takes initiative
- Capability to transform raw data into insight for the business
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Compensation and BenefitsExpected annual base salary range: $110,000 - $150,000. Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
