Tax Compliance Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the finance and accounting sector, is seeking a Tax Compliance Analyst to join their team. As a Tax Compliance Analyst, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Tax Compliance team.

Job Title: Tax Compliance Analyst

Location:Berkeley Heights, NJ

Pay Range:$44 per hour

What's the Job?

• Preparation of accurate and timely sales and use tax returns
• Prepare monthly sales/use tax journal entries, reconciliations, and working papers to support the General Ledger tax account balances
• Assist in determining nexus, identifying filing requirements, and registering to ensure tax compliance across all US state and local jurisdictions
• Respond to state and local tax notices and inquiries promptly and professionally
• Research various tax issues to support compliance and strategic decision-making

What's Needed?

• Business Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years of previous tax compliance experience
• SAP experience or equivalent financial software required
• Taxware experience or other tax compliance software required
• Strong PC skills including proficiency with MS Office applications
