Position

Title: Business Analyst With P&C

Duration: Contract to hire

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and develop detailed business requirements that
  • support digital platform development and implementation.
  • Support project management team to support analysis and review of product artifacts
  • Design, execute and maintain detailed test plans and test cases based on defined business requirements.
  • Perform user acceptance testing, identify and report system defects and ensure all systems meet our
  • business requirements.
  • Translate identified defects into actionable items and collaborate with subject matter experts, developers,
  • product managers to resolve noted defects.
  • Provide status updates and reports on UAT progress, issues, and results to project managers.
  • Ability to perform gap analysis of current and future state to ensure requirements result in optimized
  • solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Clients strategic internal and external
  • facing systems.
  • Work closely with UAT participants to define and understand all testing objectives and anticipated
  • outcomes.
  • Build relationships with IT, Operation teams and other departments within the organization.
Position Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years Operations Property Casualty insurance experience with a carrier or MGA.
  • Experience in Data migration - legacy system to a modern system
  • Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in rating, policy administration, claims processing, or underwriting.
  • Proven experience in scoping Insurance product or IT system implementations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
