Schedule: Mon-Thu onsite, Fri remote (Standard business hours)

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Network Tester with strong experience in wireless technologies, field test tools, and device validation. This role involves executing field and lab-based test plans, analyzing network performance, collaborating cross-functionally, and supporting continuous improvement across device and network test operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science
  , or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in wireless device testing, telecom engineering, or field testing.
• Hands-on experience with field test tools such as QXDM, QCAT, TEMS, Nemo
  , or similar.
• Strong understanding of wireless technologies:
  CDMA, EVDO, LTE, 5G .
• Experience testing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and embedded systems
  .
• Proficiency with operating systems:
  Windows, macOS, Linux
  .
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

• Experience with Qualcomm tools:
  QXDM, QCAT, QPST
  .
• Experience with post-processing tools:
  Wind Catcher, Actix, XCAL/XCAP-M.
• Prior mobile device testing experience.
• Experience with Spirent/Metrico tools:
  NOMAD, MUSE, Datum
  .
• Prior experience running FIT test plans for major U.S. carriers (e.g., Verizon, US Cellular).
• Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and APIs (OpenAI, Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Azure AI).

• Execute field and mobility drive tests for development, maintenance releases, and network feature validation.
• Prepare test devices (software setup, tools installation, configuration).
• Create or update test routes based on new network features and infrastructure changes.
• Conduct FIT (Field Interoperability Testing) across various network scenarios.
• Perform sanity, stability, functionality, stress, and feature testing on devices and network features.

• Execute lab-based test cases, including verification of wireless product features and accessory performance.
• Simulate real-world customer application scenarios to validate device behavior.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects and inconsistencies.
• Draft detailed daily field test reports and maintain accurate logs.
• Prepare engineering reports, ensuring test results comply with test plans and specifications.
• Upload defects, issues, and logs into PLM or internal defect tracking systems.
• Support test result post-processing using tools such as Actix, Wind Catcher
  , or similar.

• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, including software development, systems engineering, and QA.
• Ensure all testing is executed per defined standards, processes, and quality guidelines.
• Support full software testing lifecycle:
  design ? develop ? test ? release ? maintain
  .
• Contribute to the creation of test methodologies, test cases, and test documentation.
