Tandem Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking an Tandem Consultant to join their team. As an Tandem Consultant, you will be part of the IT department supporting infrastructure and systems management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Tandem Consultant

Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ (5 days onsite every week)

What's the Job?

• Interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues related to Tandem systems and ATMs.
• Document and develop supporting materials for ATM configurations and related hardware/software systems.
• Develop scripting alerts and monitor production systems using tools like Splunk, Moogsoft, or Extrahop.
• Assist in transitioning teams to an Agile framework and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Utilize technical expertise to support new configuration requirements and system enhancements for ATMs.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Tandem systems, including Line Handlers, Device Handlers, and configuration management.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or Extrahop.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Automated Teller Machines (ATM) systems and hardware is preferred.
