Snowflake Architect
Location:
Berkeley Heights, NJ, USA --- Day1 Onsite.
Experience:
12-15 Years
Candidate Requirement
Skills & Experience:
- Minimal 12+ years of experience in data warehousing/BI/analytics
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Architect
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working in Cloud platforms
- At least 5+ years of experience working with/in Snowflake
- Understanding of migration, dev/ops, ETL/ELT, and BI required
- Understanding of Snowflake design patterns and migration architectures a major plus
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience
- Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
- Understanding of complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools
- Strong skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing
- Extensive hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics
- Strong understanding of the Snowflake architecture
- Strong understanding of Snowflake roles and user security
- Good understanding of Snowflake capabilities like Snowpipe, STREAMS, etc.
- Familiarity and experience with common BI and data exploration tools (e.g. Microstrategy, Business Objects, Tableau)
- Experience and understanding of large-scale infrastructure-as-a-service platforms (e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Open Stack, etc.)
- Experience implementing ETL pipelines using custom and packaged tools
- Proven success at enterprise software.
Primary responsibility
- Design and Implement cloud data platform and cloud related architectures
- Design solution leveraging Snowflake native capabilities
- Collaborating within a project team to solve complex problems
- Thought leadership, strategy, and direction for the Snowflake practice
- Be a technical expert on all aspects of Snowflake
- Deploy Snowflake following best practices, including ensuring knowledge transfer so that customers are properly enabled and can extend the capabilities of Snowflake on their own
- Work hands-on with customers to demonstrate and communicate implementation best practices on Snowflake technology.
