Automation Test Engineer

Duration: 24-Month+ Contract

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join a large enterprise technology team supporting critical applications and systems. This role will have a strong focus on functional testing, test automation, and performance testing, working closely with developers, business stakeholders, and QA teams in an Agile environment.

• Design, develop, and execute functional and automated test cases for enterprise applications.
• Build and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
• Perform performance testing to identify bottlenecks, scalability issues, and system performance risks.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, document findings, and work closely with development teams through resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, refinement, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to test planning, test strategy, regression testing, and release validation.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing standards.
• Work with CI/CD tools and development teams to integrate automated testing into deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, reliable software releases.

• 2+ years of software quality assurance experience.
• 2+ years of automation testing experience using Selenium and Java.
• 2+ years of performance testing experience.
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong understanding of functional testing and QA methodologies.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and troubleshooting software defects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• 4+ years of equivalent education, professional experience, and/or military experience.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Berkeley Heights, NJ for the duration of the contract.

• Experience with additional automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Familiarity with security testing practices.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Important: This is a 24-month+ contract and requires candidates to work onsite in Berkeley Heights, NJ.
