The preferred location for this role is New Orleans, though there is flexibility to sit in any of the additional offices listed.
Duties and Responsibilities- Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of benefits and ERISA claims with a focus on class and complex litigation, and matters before the DOL
- Federal court litigation skills are preferred
- Class action experience is preferred
- ERISA or complex commercial litigation experience is preferred
- Experience with complex e-discovery is preferred
- JD from accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials
- 5+ years of experience in benefits, class, or other types of sophisticated litigation preferred
- Current Louisiana Bar admission
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork , along with ability to work independently on various projects

DC
, the expected salary range for this position is between $207,500 - $252,500. This position is also eligible for annual bonuses. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
For Illinois
, the expected salary range for this position is between $215,000 - $262,500. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
For New York City
, the expected salary range for this position is between $232,500 - $282,500. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
The salary range for this position applies to our California offices and reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. The expected salary range for this position is $232,500 - $282,500. This is not inclusive of our full range, and actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
