Key Responsibilities:
  • Trial Preparation: Organize exhibits, coordinate client meetings, file motions, and manage witnesses to ensure thorough trial preparation.
  • Legal Document Drafting: Prepare key legal documents such as pleadings, interrogatories, subpoenas, affidavits, and correspondence with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Client and Court Communication: Serve as a professional liaison between clients, opposing counsel, and court staff, ensuring effective communication at all times.
  • Calendar Management: Maintain and manage attorneys' calendars to ensure they are informed and prepared for deadlines, court appearances, and meetings.
  • Administrative Support: Organize and maintain both electronic and paper files to ensure efficient case management and accessibility.
Qualifications:
  • Family Law Experience: Minimum of 2 years of family law paralegal experience with a comprehensive understanding of the field's complexities.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of interacting across all levels of the organization.
  • Organizational Expertise: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, ensuring seamless interactions with clients, team members, and court personnel.
  • Technology Skills: Proficiency in CIS software, Microsoft Office 365/Teams, and SharePoint. Bilingual abilities, particularly fluency in Spanish, are a plus but not required.
