Position Summary
This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. The Senior Manager of Channel Programs will be responsible for sales (major account sales, distribution, product sell-through) to maximize Samsung market position, product penetration, and profitability within Verizon’s dealer and national retail partner channels.
Role and ResponsibilitiesDirect the use of Samsung resources to achieve assigned sales goals and business objectives, including development and execution of major account plans, account strategies, and positioning activities. Manage customer contracts, product commitments, purchase orders, promotions, promotional spend, device launches, sales reporting, and weekly calls with internal and external customers. Oversee marketing, product management, sales, operations, finance and other stakeholders to deliver high‑impact strategic programs and promotions.
Support and manage key partners in Samsung’s dealer and national retail channels, develop relationships with client management teams, and lead coordinated efforts to execute quarterly sales volume, revenue and gross profit targets. Maintain program initiatives, agreements and extensions, facilitate co‑branding efforts, analyze ROI, provide training, coordinate collateral development and track channel performance against scorecards.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 12+ years of experience in telecommunications product sales or marketing leadership at a headquarters or national account sales level.
- Ability to quickly identify market and sales opportunities within wireless product technologies.
- Experience developing activities that support strategic objectives and executing creative marketing and sales initiatives.
- Excellent project management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong cross‑functional teamwork, highly organized, analytical and detail oriented.
- Familiarity with distribution and supply‑chain management.
- Mastery of verbal and written communication in English, capable of handling multi‑store accounts with regular visits.
Work is generally performed in an office environment with frequent computer use, occasional movement of equipment under 25 pounds, and periods of time‑sensitive job stress. The position may require occasional overtime and minimal direct supervision, with responsibilities that can impact operating results.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range for this role is expected to be between $147,000 and $182,000. Regular full‑time employees (salaried or hourly) receive the following benefits:
