Garda World Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. The role requires a sharp eye for detail while monitoring multiple screens and detecting potential threats before they arise. The position is based in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

• Schedule 1 – Saturday – Monday 7am‑3pm & Wednesday 11pm‑7am.
• Schedule 2 – Friday & Saturday 10pm‑6am / Tuesday‑Thursday 11pm‑7am.
• Competitive hourly wage of $21.00 / Hour (Daily Pay available for employees).

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in emergencies.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid NJ SORA license.
• Provide documentation of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is advantageous.
• State license required if applicable.

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
