Senior Software Engineer- Fin-Tech start up

Here you will help build the technology foundation for a platform that is transforming how investment funds and private markets investors manage workflows, data, and reporting. You will play a key role in shaping the backend systems that power a growing digital platform used by institutional clients.

You’ll work closely with leadership and the technical team to design and build scalable systems that support a fast-growing business.

Expect to work across teams:

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Architect and optimize Postgre
  
  SQL data models and event-driven workflows
• Build and deploy containerized services using Docker
• Translate high-level product goals into technical solutions
• Help improve system reliability, performance, and scalability

This role is ideal for a Senior Backend Engineer who enjoys taking ownership and working in environments where requirements evolve. You’ll collaborate closely with the Tech Lead to research solutions, propose architecture, and deliver production-ready systems.

They are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, mentoring engineers, and contributing to technical direction while remaining hands-on with coding and system design.
